Analysis of a product with the ECODESIGN Assistant

As a product designer of a company producing CD covers you have to take several product requirements into account. In a new project the CD cover is to be improved, the aim is to design an environmentally sound product.

Following questions have to be answered: Where can we start? In which phase of the lifecycle the CD cover pollutes most? Which strategies should be selected and which measures should be implemented?

The ECODESIGN Assistant helps to identify the lifecycle phase where the highest environmental implications takes place. With the identified product type the ECODESIGN PILOT can suggest concrete product improvement ideas.
