How could an alternative packaging look like?

For the development of an environmentally sound Ecodesign packaging the measure "reduction of packaging" was selected.

The implementation is carried out on the one hand by an alternative functional principle, and on the other hand by the minimisation of the cardboard. The necessary material amount was cut in half, the damage protection is still sufficient. The optimised packaging only needs one type of material since the flower seeds are in a paper bag now. The bubble wrap and the plastic bag are not needed any more. The implementation of the measures represents a saving in fossil resources. Additionally the material separation for recycling after use is not necessary any more.

To be able to use the packaging as promotional media a printed paper slip can be used as a cover.
