Strategy evaluation

Strategy "reducing material inputs"

For the measure link opens in new window reducing material inputs of the packaging was rated with the very high priority of 40. The relevance is very high because the product is sold and distributed worldwide and a lighter packaging will bring a high saving in weight and required space and further less emissions. The fullfilment of the evaluation question is answered with a "no" because the packaging is one third of the weight (10g/30g) of the actual product - the flower pot - and the goal "light packaging" is not reached yet.

Based on the measures improvement ideas have to be generated.

Print the plan of the packaging from packaging.pdf and try to minimize the material based on this example.

Which design possibilities reducing the material input exist? Which other ways you can think of to reduce the material for the packaging?
