studied Industrial Engineering at the Vienna University of Technology and at the University of Salford in Great Britain with the specialization on production and operation. Since 2002 he is working at the Institute for Engineering Design at the Vienna University of Technology in the research area ECODESIGN.

He is working in the development and realisation of methods for product development and of product service systems as well as on the development of teaching modules on the basis of eLearning and of booklets. His working areas range from acquiring national and EU projects over project management to generation of content.
