Heamedin holds a PhD in mechanical engineering with focus on sustainable product development. Since 2002 he is working in the Ecodesign research group of the Institute for Engineering Design and since 2007 he is faculty memeber of the mechanical engineering faculty.
Hesamedin's research and work focuses on the development of tools, methods and approaches for ecodesign in early design stages. Other research activities cover the fields of: design creativity, integration of LCA nad CAD, design process and creativity process. He introduces his research results to industry by starting cooperations with different companies.
