Collection Systems
In Austria 4 systems are responsible for collection and utilization of electronic waste:
- The Umweltforum Haushalt (UFH) which used to be an system for collection of refrigerators only.
- The European Recycling Platform (ERP) a cooperation of Sony, HP, Braun and Elektrolux.
- The ARA - Altstoff Recycling Austria which operates as one of the biggest collection and treatment systems of packaging.
- The EVA - Erfassen und Verwerten von Altstoffen GmbH which is also operating in collection and treatment of packaging.
