The purpose of the Directive 2002/95/EC on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment is to reduce the quantity of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.

By means of an Internet-based Directives validity check, the "WHO" gateway will assess whether you, being a manufacturer, retailer or an importer, are among those actually affected by the RoHS Directive.
