Product improvement

The ECODESIGN - PILOT provides the systematic derivation of sensual improvement strategies together with effective ECODESIGN measures for product improvement.

At the beginning the type of product has to be asserted. You can distinguish between raw material, manufacturing, transport, use and disposal intensive products.

Depending on the type of product various optimizing strategies are necessary. Next, possible optimizing strategies and measures for the asserted type of product have to be found.

This selection and evaluation process is carried out by the ECODESIGN PILOT. The check lists of the PILOT allow a quick and easy proceeding. The PILOT is available online and is suppported by the ECODESIGN Assistant. Based on the product data you have to input the Assistant recommends direct applicable strategies and check lists for a distinctive product.
