Product life cycle

An effective resource management is only possible, if the environmental impacts occuring during the product life are already recognized and considered in the planning phase. For this the whole product life cycle has to be modeled and evaluated. Effluent free manufacturing, reduction of material and energy input as well as the prevention of toxicities are relevant target variables among other things.
