Demand area Energy

The real need in the demand area "energy" is not the consumption of energy and the energy source, but the provided services. These services can be fulfilled with increased efficiency or new service concepts with lower energy use and therefore with lower costs. For businesses and households the demand consists of the following services: process heat and cooling, space heating, lighting, power for the operation of machinery and equipment, energy for cooking, mobility and energy for household appliances.

Energy contracting can be distinguished in two variants: Plant contracting and energy saving contracting.

- Plant Contracting: The contractor builds and operates the plant for providing energy and sells the energy to the purchasers in the desired form.

- Energy saving contracting: The contractor is responsible for energy savings and raising efficiency at the business partners plant.
